McAfee Scan Setting
From the Scan Settings, to choose the above settings is best for a thorough and accurate scan for ALL your drives. In the "Exclusion" usually the recycle bin is excluded. Unselect it, it's a good idea to scan EVERYTHING with NO exclusions. What if you had a file in the recycle bin that DID have a virus and it's "payload" activated before you deleted it from your system? Domino effect time, baby! Payload is code embedded in the virus to tell it when to activate its massive destruction after it has infected a certain amount of files, sectors,memory or a certain time has elapsed.
