McAfee Pick Settings to Change
Make sure you have McAfee's "Instant Updater"
configured to automatically update the DAT files [virus definitions] and
its scan engine when you are connected to the Net. An icon will automatically
load itself into the system tray indicating it is doing the update after
accessing McAfee and finding new definitions or engines.
